This is what my free canvas will look like when it arrives in a few weeks. The bright photo part is the image that will show on the front of the canvas and the grayed area will be the part that wraps around the canvas. It will be the same brightness but this is shown so you can see what will wrap. You ask how I know this? I have purchased from Canvas People before to showcase a picture of my husband and his deer. I gave it to him for his birthday. I was very satisfied then and I know I will be this time too.

A little about the photo: Cole, my youngest, was so excited to carve out pumpkins this year. Every year we have carved pumpkins but he has given up or depended on us the create it for him. He has never fully completed a pumpkin on his own.
This year was unlike any others!
I purchased a pumpkin carving kit from Michael’s. It included everything you needed to carve the pumpkin including images to trace. We spent several minutes trying to decide which one would be the best. Honestly, in my mind, I was thinking which one was the easiest. On his own he chose the classic pumpkin face.
Our friends and family gathered together and we started carving our pumpkins. Everytime my husband and I would try to help him he would say, ” I got this, I know how to do this, stop it!” He has become very independant at five years old!!!!
This time I really wanted to help him. Every thought went into my head. “He’s going to cut himself. He’s going to cut the pumpkin wrong and be so disappointed.” So many things… but I kept them too myself.
When all was said and done he had completed a masterpiece (of course, all mother’s think their children do amazing projects, and this project was no different.)
He was and still is so proud of this pumpkin carving!!! I am also proud and want to show him by giving him a priceless photo on a canvas that he can keep for years to come…
